The Health and Safety Executive have revised their guidance on the care and maintenance of metalworking fluids and there is now a requirement to carry out regular tests to assess microbiological levels. Their publications in the MW series (MW 0 – MW 5) provide specific details of these requirements.

Our fluid testing service includes collection, analysis and formal reporting, to include findings, acceptability and recommendations for any remedial actions. This is anticipated to be useful for companies who do not wish to have, or have not yet set up, their own facility or those that simply prefer to have an external organisation providing an independent verification. We can also monitor airborne mist concentrations and carry out formal testing of LEV equipment as appropriate.
